Drive Motor For Bobcat 540, 542, 641, 642, 643

This is a new hydraulic wheel drive motor used on Bobcat skid steer loader models 540, 542, 542B, 543, 641, 642, 642B, and 643. This motor is not packaged in a Bobcat box, and it has not been bought from Bobcat.  However, it is exactly identical to the unit you would buy from Bobcat, same make and model.  It replaces Bobcat part number 6630037.

It has a 1 1/4 inch diameter 14 spline shaft and #10 O-ring Boss ports. The older machines originally had a tapered keyed drive shaft.  That motor is also available for the same price if you do not want to spend the extra money required to buy new sprockets.  If you do not need to replace the whole motor, Loader Parts Source, Inc. also sells the parts for this motor

This motor is originally used on the following models:

540, 542, 543 - Serial number info not available.

542B - This is the only motor used.

641 - After serial number 13346.

642 - After serial number 13346.

643 - After serial number 13620.

642B - This is the only motor used.

If you have an earlier machine with a tapered shaft, you will need a hydraulic motor to replace Bobcat part number 6599718.

The earlier machines can use this motor if the sprocket is changed.  It is best to look at the shaft before ordering to be sure no one has ever changed it over.
