A History of New Holland

In New Holland, Pennsylvania, in the year 1895, Abe Zimmerman purchased a horse barn. Later, this barn would become an established Blacksmith shop. Using his talents, Zimmerman began repairing and making farm machinery for local farmers. He aspired to build and manufacture his own stationary engine, and by 1900 he had designed and built prototypes of the engine.

In 1903, the New Holland Machine Company was born. Success led the company to expand into the manufacture of other farm machine products. Today, New Holland skid steers are reliable machines, recommended for their control, durability, and great lifting power.
