This new drive motor replaces New Holland part numbers 771711 and 612858.
The application is New Holland L553 and L555 early model skid steers (before serial number 623009) with disc brakes.
The shaft on the brake end has a keyway and the shaft on the chaincase end is splined and tapered. It will work on either side of the skid loader. Both sides are the same. The later machines use a motor with splined shafts on both ends.
*Since drive motors are installed new by the OEM in pairs. Loader Parts Source, Inc. always recommends changing both drive motors as they have been exposed to the same wear and tear. This could save future down time and expense.*
